My apologies for the not sending out an issue of Ksovim last week, the pressures of Chanukah peulos left me no time to prepare the material.

In this week’s issue we have 1) a hagoho on an English adaptation of a sicha concerning the NASA mission to the moon, 2) a strong response to the submission of a pesach dovor to a new sefer, 3) 10 letters from the Rebbe in Hebrew, Yiddish and English, 4) a transcript of a phone call from Rabbi Chadakov, and 5) a letter from a bochur describing the goings on in 770 in 1966.

Hagoho

Here is an English translation/adaptation of the sicha from Shabbos Vayaigash 5729/1968 where the Rebbe talked about the Apollo 8 mission with a number of edits from the Rebbe in Hebrew and in English.

Pesach Dovor

Here is the pesach dovor for Sefer Hamaamorim 5655-6/1894-6 with the following edits by the Rebbe:

1. להחזיר כל המצו״ב

2. באיזה יום ושעה יוכלו בפו״מ ללמוד בס׳ זה?

3. עשירי בטבת יהפך

Teves 5717/1956

A copy of a portion of a letter from the Rebbe printed in IGK v. 14 p. 228 with the following differences:

1. In IGK it suggests the letter is from Kislev 5717/1956 whereas in this copy it says Teves 5717/1956.

2. In IGK it excludes the words ׳ז.א. שקלא וטריא בעניני פוליטיקה וכיו״ב׳ from the final paragraph.

3. In IGK it excludes the brocho at the end: ׳המצפה לבשו״ט ובברכת חנוכה מאיר ומזהיר׳

Rosh Chodesh Teves 5724/1963

A letter from the Rebbe to Rabbi S. Y. Zevin printed in IGK v. 23 p. 60 with multiple additions in the Rebbe’s hand including at the end:
